Episode 2: Terrified to Awake

I took a right. "Help Me!" A girl cried from straight ahead. I ran even faster untill i could see here. I caught up with her and knelt down to her. She was sitting on the floor against the wall. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She looked up at me. She was soaked, And her skin was stained black from the smoke of the explosions. "I think i broke my leg." She said as calmly she could. "We have to get out of here." I told her. She had the saddest look on her face. I slipped my arm under her legs and back and hoisted her up. "Lets get out of here!" She told me. I ran with her weight hardly burdening m. I kept on going down the hall. I passed by a door, and the explosion rang in my ears and the door smashed into the wall right behind me, and it only encouraged me to move faster. We came to a choice. I stood before a dark hole. It looked scary, but what can be worse than this!? "We're going down this hole, okay?" I looked in her eyes. She returned the look, "Anywhere away from here." I came to notice her eyes, and how bright green they were. I carefully krept down into the hole, her in my arms the entire time. "Degad!" Someone yelled at me from behind, i didn't know what they said. A grown man jumped down at me with a gun. My heart throbbed against my chest. I set the girl down. beep! beep! beep!
I looked down at another little plate. I picked it up and threw it at the man. He shot at me and missed. The beeping stopped. I picked the girl up and began to run. BLAM!

I coughed, and breathed hard. I was shot in the shoulder,

BOOOOM!!!

The explosion rained hard on us, but we kept on going. The girl was okay, I was okay. More yelling reeled on from behind me. I picked up my paste and ran faster. Gun shots went off, each one missing me by far. Soon they wound up with no more bullets. They were the worst fighters ever. I set the girl down one more time. I noticed a tough wooden stick on the ground. I lifted it up and grasped it firmly at the bottom. The men showed up, there were three. One of them said something to me, but i just swung sideways and took him out, and bashing the other man in the side. The other one lunged forward at me, and punched me in the face. I dropped the stick. I walked up to him, and he began to back up. I ran at him and beat the living shit out of him. "Watch out!" The girl cried. I turned around, and the other man held up the wooden stick and slashed down at me. BLAM!! He was shot through the chest, and the stick flew behind me. He fell down and behind him, was the girl holding a gun. I left the other two men unconcous.
She put her arm around my neck and i supported her up, and we carried on. The tunnel came darker and colder. "Whats your name?" She asked me, staring at her feet. "Onyx." I told her. She looked up, but not at me, and smiled. "Mine is Emily." She told me. Soon a ray of light lit up the dark tunnel. And convinently a ladder to the top. I let her go. "Thank god. A way out." She sighed of releif. I went up, and she went up after me.
I found myself somewhere i've never seen in my life. "Where are we?" We asked eachother at the same time. "What? I thought you knew." I told her. "N-no. Oh god. Were we kidnapped!?" She held her hands over her mouth. "I dont know. I just moved away from a place called Yahn with my mom-" My heart suddenly sank. I stood up and began to crawl down the hole again. "What are you doing!? You can't go down there!" She yelled at me, catching my arm. "My mother is still in there!" I told her. "You dont know that, and you'll die if you go back there!" "What the hell are you kids doing in there?" A raspy voice spoke from above me. I couldn't make out his face because of the sun. "This is a construction area. You can't be down there." He told Emily. "No- No! We woke up in there and then explosions began to go off! We just ran out of there!" She said. Apearantly her soaked body and panicky voice wasn't enough for him to beleive. "Hahaha. Okay. Just don't go back down there." He said.

{Emily}

"I'm not lying!" I yelled back, the officer continued away. I stopped trying. It was weird, that man was wearing rags, and his hair was longer than mine. Where am I? I turned back to the hole. Onyx was gone! "Onyx!" I called into the darkness. I stepped down to the first step of the ladder. "Hey! What did I just tell you!?" The officer yelled at me. I got back out instantly. The officer again continued along. Damnit. "What can I do?" I said to myself.

{Onyx}

"I'm sorry Emily, I said to myself. I walked back through the tunnel as quickly as i could without making noise. I came across the men, that I had roughed up. I picked up the thick wooden stick and rested it on my shoulder. That made me nervous. To hold something for defense. Because i know that i'm going to need it. I came to the halls of the place i found myself in. Everything was in even worse shape than I had left it. I crept around the corner, no one was here. I continud down the iron hall and found a door, not torn off or broken or even damaged. I twisted the knob. It was locked. The key popped up in my head again! I felt my pockets, and there it was. I took it and slipped the key into the lock. I turned the key successfully and entered the room. No one was in here. Just paperwork. What is this? I lifted up one of the papers. "ROLE" It read at the top, and a list of names. I was on this list. I looked around for my mom. Kelea Baaj, no Kelea Baaj. I didn't find her on that list. Which means she's not here! "Which means she's still alive!" I cheered. BOOM! The door was kicked open, and a team of men like the ones i fought with before surround me with guns. "Did i say that outloud?"

{Emily}

Instead of trying to get back down into the hole, I ran along the tunnel above ground for another entrance, If i find one. I was worried. I pasted by many civilians of different races that i've never seen before. I don't think they've seen me before either, seeing they gave me awkward looks. I began to hear explosions under me! I gasped, "Whats going on here!?" Another officer asked me. "Theres terrorists under there!!" I yelled. "No one is down there! Its a delayed construction sight!" "Well okay, maybe your delayed construction sight is blowing up!"

{Onyx}

The entire team surrounded me. I couldn't understand them. They kept asking me questions, but i couldn't answer. Their bombs started going off in other rooms around me. I had my hands up. One of the guys pointed at me and said something. Suddenly, the team pointed their guns at me and aimed. "Dont shoot me!"

{Emily}

"Stand back." The officer said. He pushed a code in the dile of the land mine he set down. He ran back to me, which I was around a dozen more officers.

{Onyx}

I closed my eyes, and the shot peirced my ears. "Am i dead?" I asked myself. "Put down your weapons!" I opened my eyes to officers and terrorist fighting eachother. "Run!" One of the officers told me. I refused, and picked up the wooden stick again.

{Emily}

Two officers stood above the hole with their guns pointing down and their sheilds guarding them. I turned around and sprinted back to the hole on the other side, and then ran across the dark tunnel. I made to the halls and the explosions rumbled at my feet. I couldn't tell anyone from anyone. "De lah copter" I hear a terrorist call in a phone like thing. "Copter?"

I was beaten up pretty bad. But it didn't stop me. The officers were losing. And i felt the morale slipping away. My eye lids began to drop.

I fell asleep.
