Bridge of Yahn.
It was his last day to say goodbye.
He did so to all his friends, and now he's on his way to a new country.
As they go farther down the lonely bridge, the snow gets harder.
The bridge seemed to go on forever.
The boy was young. From Ghavin.
He had alot of friends, and he knew many people.
But now, all was thrown away. Everything gone.
Everything leaving his life amongst the bridge and the snow.
His name was Onyx.
This is the year 4704, planet Ivalce, border of Yahn.
{Onyx}
"Onyx." My mother said. "I'm sorry." I didn't even try to think of anything to say.
"I know." I managed. I kept remembering the last thing everyone had said to me.
"I'm going to miss Yahn." I told her, the truth coming from my heart.
"I know. Me too." She said, to even out her feelings with mine, whether they were false or not.
The government managed to force everyone out of the country that didn't come "high class".
We actually were doing terrible. We had nearly no money to name, and a small house.
But matter not, my friends came endless in point of life to me. And now its all thrown away.
My mother and I were on a chariot, lead on by black chocobo. Escorting us out of the country.
It was comfortable. But i wasn't. There were thick curtains around us, and my mother towards the front, leading the chocobo. I pulled the curtains apart and peered outside. Wind whiped across my face, and snow flew by like bullets. The bridge was broad and wide. And it was like there was no bottom. I could see nothing but white beneith us. It was a scary feeling. I closed the curtain, and reclined back. I fell to sleep.
......
My eyes quickly slipped open. I stared strait up at the top of a ceiling tile. My skin was warm, as well as the bed under me. I remembered that i left Yahn last night. I sat up. I was in a room. A very empty room. With only a bed, and a door. I got out of the bed and rubbed my eyes. I went to open the door. The knob wouldn't even turn. It was locked and the way i saw things began to turn. i looked around for something, anything. I hear a beep. Right behind me. I turn around. I heard it behind my again. My eyes widened as i felt a small metal plate attatched to my back, no bigger than a quarter. I began to breath heavier. I had a grip on it, and as i pulled the pain shattered across my body. I couldn't do it. It beeped again. The beeps were getting more rapid.
I reared back and punched the door. "HELP!" I cried. The beeps were going off nearly every three seconds now. I sat down on the bed. "No ones here, i dont know what this thing does and i'm locked inside a room. I came here from Yahn." I thought outloud. The beeping came every two seconds. What if it's a bomb!? I tried not to think about that, but it was the very first thing in my mind, repeated itself over and over again. I began to look anywhere to get that thing off of me. I looked under the bed. A rusted golden key lay in front of me! I slapped it and dragged it over to me. I reached to my back and felt over the plate, it was solid. No key hole. I gulped. I tore the skin under the plate, and began to pry it up. I screamed but i didn't hear it. The beeps came simutaniously. I ripped the plate off and threw it across the room, i dodged to the door and jammed the key into the hole. I turned it and swung the door open. The beeping stopped. Despise what was outside that room, i took off down the hallway.
BOOOMM!!!
The explosion was so great, it knocked to my face on the ground. I pulled my self up and turned around. The door was split into a few peices and and black smoke poured out of the room. I began to hear explosions everywhere. What kind of hell is this? I turned around to the other side of the hall. I began to run. My mom was here somewhere. I began to feel sick to my stomach.
